A river-rock fireplace climbs two stories through the middle of the house. It is decorative today, and an electric fireplace in the living room keeps you warm. No, it is decorative. An electric fireplace and electric heat keep the cabin warm. How do I reach the cabin? On foot across a railed footbridge over Clear Creek. It is the only way in. Is there a shower in both bathrooms? The main floor bath has a walk-in shower. The second bath has a claw-foot soaker tub only. Is there a washer and dryer? Yes, full-size, on the main floor. How far is town? About 5 minutes to downtown Buffalo and 35 minutes to Sheridan. Check-in and check-out? 4 PM and 10 AM, self check-in. Good to know - This is an older, authentic log cabin with character, not new construction. - The footbridge and stairs make it a poor fit for limited mobility. - Wildlife lives here and you will see it. Keep food and trash inside. - Spring runoff (April-June) runs the creek high and fast, and the edges ice over in winter.
