Rachael’s Place was a great home base for us to explore the Big Horn Mountains and surrounding area. The views from the porch are beautiful, as advertised, and the home had a great open layout and spacious kitchen. It is about 25 minutes to Sheridan, which is a good size town with restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Just down the street is a community center with workout facilities and open green space where we took our dog for walks. We enjoyed our stay.

I highly recommend staying here it is beautiful and peaceful. The sunsets and sunrises are truly amazing. The occasional Wildlife is Pleasant to view the nearby lakes and rivers are wonderful and easily accessible for fishing or just relaxing. We would definitely visit again.

If you’re looking for peace, privacy, and retreat, then this is a perfect stay. If you need the convenience of a large city, Sheridan is less than 30 minutes away. I really enjoyed this peaceful stop on our roadtrip.
